"...a new and different concept for our Hampton Roads area, and the local theater community should cherish it." - HR ACT Awards

"Little One" marked the inaugural production of Wisdom Heart Theater and the United States premiere of Hannah Moscovitch’s searing story of compassion, fractured childhoods, and the nature of love.

Playing to sold-out houses in Norfolk, Virginia in June 2024, "Little One" was directed by Paul Lasakow and Staci Murawski, and featured Sully Peterson-Quinn as Aaron and Cristina Rose as Claire.

"... splendidly creepy... witty, smart and insidious" – Canada Globe and Mail

When 4-year-old Claire is adopted into the family, 6-year-old Aaron’s childhood is disrupted by his new sister whose behavior reveals unsettling insights into her unknown past. Told from his perspective as an adult, “Little One” is the story of Aaron, his strange sister, and her fixation with their neighbor and his mail-order bride. Wryly humorous yet ultimately haunting, “Little One” is a gripping 60-minute psychological thriller that asks: how much strain can love withstand?
